It's Golden

What person who was alive during the eighties didn't love the retirement shoulder-padded humor of the Golden Girls?

I know I do--and that is why this tattoo is one of my all time favorites.

E's love of all things chinoiserie in style and her love of pink and red can be seen in her new tattoo of an open fan on her back.

She was an absolute trouper, but after two and a half hours, she became the owner of a beautiful feminine tattoo on her back.

The Swan!

So, here is a lovely tattoo I did for a great couple.

The picks out this tattoo from Google images of swans. They both agree it's a sweet tattoo. I kept thinking it looks familiar...

As I am tattooing, I realize it is the logo for the tv reality show "The Swan". If you remember it was one season show were unhappy women get a radical make over and then compete in a beauty contest. Kinda crazy, but man, they had a great brand.

So here is the picture and if I do say so myself it does make a great tattoo!
